You Won't Miss Me

You Won't Miss Me

A Poem by dancingintherain

V1:
Strange things happen
And people change
Faster than that right before your eyes
The love that was the strongest died
No one could have been happier than I
And here I am now, on the ground after the fight

Chorus:
'Cause all the memories that keep coming back to me
You'll forget
I won't forget your curly blonde hair
Or your gorgeous eyes as blue as the ocean deep
When you smile, I will weep
No, you won't miss me, Will
You won't miss me
'Cause you won't even think
All the past will be gone in a blink
You'll block me out like a barracade
And all of it will fade
You won't even take the slightest turn to come back
'Cause you won't miss me, Will
You won't miss me

V2:
Every single time
I close my eyes
Your beautiful face appears in front of me
And with that image I fall asleep
I wake up, start to scream
To realize that you and I were only a dream

-Chorus-

Bridge:
I'll put on a show and act like I'm okay
And I'll try not to get in your way
I will fake a smile just for you,
And I'll act like someone you never knew

-Chorus-(2x)
