Should've Never Kissed

Should've Never Kissed

A Poem by dancingintherain

Finished! :)

V1
Our love started with such violent words
But too many and too often caused hurt
Everything you said was too perfect, too sweet
Yeah, I guess you could say you swept me off my feet
But even the best can turn to the worst
And I'm an innocent girl

Chorus:
Hey, there you
Yeah, I'm talking to you
Remember how we used to kiss everyday?
Backstage and in the hallway?
Well frankly, I don't think we should have
It was a bad idea you see
Because you got all mean
After the ending
We should've never kissed
Every kiss made me more attached
And every secret was unhatched
I know it'll be something I'll miss,
But we should've never kissed
Because every kiss was a kiss of death
I wish i had tasted it on your breath
No, no kisses
Should've never kissed

V2:
A ticket or a token, it's all the same
But a gateway pass goes a very long way
Even though you couldn't have been any nicer,
I still should've listened to my friends to be wiser
'Cause even the most trusted lose it all
And you left because you got a new call

-Chorus-

Bridge:
I can feel the poison setting in
Running through my veins like venom
You held yourself back to not lose control
But maybe our love turned from fresh to old

-Chorus-(2x)
