My Candy

My Candy

A Poem by Megan

Stare a little harder.

I don’t think I can feel you, yet

my eyes wander back to

the curves of your body.

I can play these games too,

where we stare until

the other gets caught

making faces and feeling

lustful as a little fire

burns in your jeans

as I bend and twist on

the bed in your daydream.

Wake up you’re starting

to slobber like a

dog would after he drinks

from his bowl and decides to

bury his bone. Walk away without

speaking after that steamy

scene played out in the middle

of our calculus class.

See you next Monday,

or maybe, you’ll

be seeing me

sooner than I know.

great piece. I love those fantasies and the excitement of wondering where it is going to go. I have to send you a real short piece I wrote that was inspired by the same type of subject. Anyway, i like the way you write. I really like the line about the dog drinking from the bowl. You could get even more descriptive to help the reader go there with you, but you did a good job bringing the reader to the tip and leaving it up to them.
Thanks for sharing.

peace,
danielle
