Hospital Room

Hospital Room

A Poem by mysteriouslyyours
"

A young girl sits by her dying grandmother bed.

"

Sat at the side of her hospital bed I hope.

Sadly science tromps hope.

My beloved grandmother is no longer for this world.

Like summer her season has passed.

Like a fragile flower she has begun to wilt.

No longer living but just being.

Her time will soon come.

Soon she will share one last kiss.

An unfamiliar one, with an unfamiliar being.

A being not of this world.

A being enthusiastic about death.

One swift kiss and my beloved grandmother is gone.

No longer a part of this earth.

Taken from the world too soon.

Like many others before her.

Great poem!
I've lost my grandma like this, by her bed side.
Keep up the great work!
