never ending stars

enjoy :)

People come and go

some remembered, some forgotten

but the one thing that will never leave

and always be in our hearts

are the never ending stars

We all have our own special qualities 

some of us sing, some dance

but the one thing we all have in common

the one most important part

we are all never ending stars

People can rip from our souls

they can steal our innocence

and they can trample on what is most important

but the one thing that they cannot take 

is our never ending stars

We fight for our brothers and sisters

even though we don't always succeed

they know that we would fight for them 

because they will and always be 

our never ending stars

tonight i look at the night 

and as I write this poem

I remember those who fought for me

and gave me my name

for I am and always will be

a never ending star

I noticed in your bio you said you are 15, and I have to say you write with a beautiful sophistication that most people your age would not be able to do. So kudos for that! Aww this was so touching. I may have -- MAY have, mind you -- shed a tear. Just one.

Haha, no this was a great poem. The repetition you used was perfect for effect and emphasis. And there's so much truth in this. We have have common ground in that we are each a never-ending star.

And no matter the differences between us, we're all here, on this earth, suffering through tears and laughing through joys, together, and we have more in common than we think.
