a poem I wrote about a one sided love enjoy :)

I see you across the room

Your eyes locked on me

I know who you are

But you and I never met

 

You walk towards me

As I think about my last thoughts about him

You approach me and make me laugh

That was the first time we exchanged words

 

We talk for a while

And when we get interrupted by a teacher

You go with her to help

And look back at me with a smile in your eyes

 

My mind just bursted with happiness

I had not felt that much happiness in such a long time

 

You come to approach me

For the second time

But get pulled away again with someone who needs your help

You look a little sad but give me a smile

 

I will never forget that day

The first time we had communicated

Or that I remember

 

The next time we had talked was when I was worried about you

When you didn’t come to school

We talked on face book for hours that night

And learned so much about each other

 

Every since we exchanged phone numbers that night

We have been talking to each other almost every night

At first I thought you only talked to me because you wanted to be nice

But then I realized that you truly do like talking to me

 

For the past three months we have known each other

You have given me so much

Whether it was the burned Scorpions Cd

Or being the first to say happy birthday to me at 12:30 in the morning

I will remember you forever

 

I always catch myself looking over our previous texts

And look at them and smile

Cause you make my day when we talk at night

 

I love you so much

I know it's dorky since I don't feel that way anymore but I thought it told a good story so I'm like, why not
