Last Words of High School

Last Words of High School

A Poem by Hope
"

Poem that I'm writing for my graduation...Just a bunch of last words thrown together to make a life lesson.

"
In the wise words of William, we are all going;

And though, just like Thomas, we don't know where,

We hope it's beautiful.

Just as Henry predicted, now comes the mystery;

We have tried very hard to do the right, like Grover.

We are the strongest, just as Alexander tells us;

We approached our Rome as brick, to leave it as Augustus' marble.

And now, we are on our journey to get out of Sìmon's labyrinth.

So just like Sir Walter:

We have a long journey to take, and must bid the company farewell.

Oh, and another note: I'm not sure I'll even be allowed to read this, since everyone to speak was chosen, and I wasn't one of them.

Very nice collection of last words! Applies perfectly to the end of the HS chapter of life and the start of the new one.

A very nice farewell to High School. I like the statement of William and Thomas. Life is a open door. Graduation on finishing H.S. I like the ending to the very strong poem. Thank you for sharing the excellent poem.
