Based on the song She Is by Ne-Yo this poem is about how someone feels after the initial break up with someone they love.

I’m in trouble. I didn’t see this coming.

Out of nowhere you were gone.

Your lips were no longer mine to kiss.

Your hand was no longer mine to hold.

Your voice was no longer mine to hear I love you from.

I didn’t want to be in this position, never thought I would be.

Never thought I’d have to imagine you here.

 

 

I’m in a lot of trouble now.

‘Cause I’m in love and I didn’t wanna be.

And all because of he.

 

 

I didn’t look at the signs, I didn’t take heed.

I let myself fall even though I knew I shouldn’t.

I paid no attention, I felt myself let go.

Falling deeper into your eyes.

The ice around my heart cracking under the warmth of your smile.

My stomach tightening as you approached,

My hearth still beats at the thought of you

The touch of you lingers on my skin, heart and mind.
