My Muse Is a She Devil

My Muse Is a She Devil

A Poem by Cardinal Robin

My Muse Is a She Devil

Who am I to judge

the value, merit, intensity

of my spirit singing

your love’s essence

through me in a delicate,

organic balance.

Interconnectivity is the original

Nativity.

In the bond of a handshake

between matching pairs

I found the Basic Us

buoying me up

and expanding my knowing

of Love and Irony.

Could I, You

require me,

desire in You

freeing fear

not freely but perhaps,

No, Truly, really free

and Loving in abundance.

Caught up in our toffee

your warmth sticks me

to the roof of you

and in turn you catch

and release me

for hours on end.

The fish is caught

we feast and lift this

Beast of Burden

with One finger,

so it’s meant to BE.

We couldn’t have planned it to make it better.

Did it just land in our lap?

I look long into your Endlessness

and you say, “YES” in me.

You never broke my heart,

It blew apart the Instant

and now it’s sacred pieces

fill the Universe with Soul,

Yours and Mine,

DIVINE!

Robin

ohh Robin ! this is your most beautiful poem ever. She is a deity....seems to be..not a devil.
She is less explosive... more mystery..she moves along with hurricane velocity... and she seems to be
always an entertaining amusement. this unspoken sensuality is really successful here.. loved every line. favorite. hmm a slick suprising, easy moving poem,

Did it just land in our lap?

I look long into your Endlessness

and you say, "YES" in me. ----sweet masculine wishful thinking. this kept me riveted.

There is so much love and respect for the muse, but sometimes she is a wicked creature. Aren't most Greek goddesses like that?

Superb words, Robin. I know they come to you via heavenly means.

for hours on end. --- Beautiful!

It blew apart the Instant
and now it's sacred pieces
fill the Universe with soul --- Oh man, I wished I'd written that!

Great job! This is wonderful, very visual and very stimulating...even right down to the title!

Of Love and Irony... Quite often the same, aren't they?
Beautiful.

Well done.

Very well penned. I don't think your love is the she devil you claim her to be...love I suppose has you sucked in...another one of you wonderful pieces of art my love! Great job!

I never got a read request, I am intensely pissed off now.

I always thought I will be getting read requests. Your pieces are awesome and I have been waiting to read them.

Waiting in line like all those who wait in line to buy Harry Potter.

Or the nintendo Wii.

Or vote in an election, which is stupid.

Fundamentals being wonderful,

your message and emotions is great, and as a beat poet, you have done well here.

A wonderful piece

Exceptional Robin!
Wow, this is truly lovely...

mmm...a she devil?
I don't see her as such..
I see her as your loving expressive side,
sometimes disgusted and fed up, but
always --- in the love.
