Poet's Love

Poet's Love

A Poem by Cardinal Robin
"

re-post...about the love we have for each other's use of words

"

Poet’s Love

if I could say

a single word

to you

would think

a single word

untrue

so hard I strive

creative to

parlay

subtle words are

not enough

today

when every single

diamond out

of coal

will look us in

the eye

for soul

my heart will ever

warm you

next to me

my word for love

remains your

ecstasy

                         foreshadow

Good job. I really liked this. Lots of feeling and I love the way you wrote it, it made me stop and really think about what I was reading. Thanks for another great read. ;)

this hurricane-velocity message went straight to my heart. Like the brevity and humbleness about it.
