See You There!

See You There!

A Poem by Cardinal Robin
"

re-post...wordplay/storytelling based on "Lord over us"

"

See You There!

Lord over us

as I crest this mountain peak

masses tremble with tidal waves

surging my shores

When I realize the presence

of another coming

avarice suggests

I could topple them willfully

or welcome them as skin deeper

Dare I allow them the first interview

with the sage we’re certain

will greet us openly for our travails

or will I strike forward

leaving All in dust of breathless suffering

Our eyes pierce each other

like ancient lasers

working their Egyptian alchemy

Trip, slip, stumble on lesser lies

lose your grip

and clutch at emptiness

let faith be the bran scraping

Truth resurrected, reincarnated in mustard seeds

Lord knows the weakest

have given up gasping

from sorrowful food additives

and toxic sugar waters

long before the beginning

of epic courageous climes

As my conscience regroups

innumerable thousands have joined

we two now three and on

freed of ten thousand relative things

The Deceiver’s jibes scribe

The Word for his annulment

transformed at last

overwhelmed by our final rejection

left a righted fool for Love

Are you with us?

"Trip, slip, stumble on lesser lies

and clutch at emptiness
let faith be the bran scraping
Truth resurrected, reincarnated in mustard seeds"

We will never fully grasp
true faith.
Ever.
We can only taste a crumb of it...
and a mere piece of it,
would change the world

Once again,
this is a re-read,
as I cannot pull completely
from its depth
in one read...

Again Robin...
your work is food for thought...
literally.

I'm returning to this ...
