I'll be back to elaborate on this review more after work....
save my spot! lol

........ [[ hours later ]] kk, i'm back! lol
As much as I enjoy playing
words with you,
not on this piece.
You've really outdone yourself,
and as stunningly brilliant as all of
your other pieces are,
this is my favorite.
Why?
Because it touches one of the main
causes of an infected society.
We mindlessly
eat the food put in front of
us, and it somewhat reminds me
of when I was a child and would
get in trouble if I didn't eat everything on
my plate, whether I liked the food or not.
Eventually,
I learned to like or at least accept
what I was being fed,
and swallowed it all,
yet some of it made me gag.
And wouldn't you know...
I had food issues later in life.
Children learn by example...
Do what they're told (for the most part),
and eat what they're fed...
most not strong or caring enough later in
life to break the food poisoning chain...
and therefore feed their children the
same infected food...
repeat. repeat. repeat. repeat.
and here we are.....
with the same old leftovers,
....new dishes.
Robin, your writing always brings to the forefront
the issues/madness of the world in which we live....
I did enjoy that, you've a knack for weaving words and their sounds into images that give off emotions--similar to beat poets and performers of spoken word... i dig...

Wow, Robin! Children fed garbage as truth. It's a sad reality. There is no one wiser than a child in its innocence, free to cherish life as the gift which has been given to us, and there is no greater fool than the ignorant "adult" who teaches this child otherwise, whether it be a teacher, parent, anyone. I see many images of the many ways in which children are boxed into systems by those who are supposed to love them. The children are fed beliefs as truth. The chain of ignorance goes on and on, unless the child in its wisdom is able to see beyond what is being hammered into its head from the start. Another brilliant piece from you, my friend!! Much love........
