A far fell StarA Poem by Cardinal Robinre-post of my first sonnet...about 4 weeks ago
A far fell Star When fickle world resolves your day in night and darkness fills creation dulling day When a single Star might bring pains to light and banishment of joy will fall away My Love I am just as I was since birth Innocence Lost was not my broken chain If I could break These bonds to free the Earth and Love of Faith could lift thy smile again My heart with thee will fill the books of Lore My Hope and Charity shall pale chagrin My Shooting Star eclipses Loves of Yore Embraces all despair and Angels grin If only One Kind Star arose and fell My Love would kindle thee tonight, and well
