UntitledA Poem by SarahTwisting knot coulds my throat, As no words escape, In this nightmare.
Thoughts brash and harsh, Of lightning, The sole source of heat and light, On darkened days, A like anyother.
The world came crashing down, Falling upon my shoulders, For me to bear the weight, In an endless eternity.
The strain and struggle, Beating at the shores, Democracy weighing me down with its purse. To spread the weath, End Famine. But the billions are nothing but dead weight.
Need to build, Reconsruct from shore to shore, To ensure peace time a little while longer, Lighten the load to be able to stand, Having help hold the world as one. © 2011 SarahAuthor's Note
