Sweet temptation

Sweet temptation

A Poem by Sarah

I hate what I feel

Knowing you and I will never be real

But being near you is like

A favorite candy sitting in the store

With no money to buy

You are that sweet temptation

Every time I say distance,

I close the gap even farther.

I find my self leading with my heart,

Not my brain.

One day it will be to hard to explain,

My strange behavior.

But to see you smile,

Is a ray of sunshine after the rain,

Your laughter is like,

The air I breath after a new rain fall,

Crisp and clear.

Music to my ears is your siren song voice,

Leaves me hanging on every word,

Begging for more.

You are nothing but sweet temptation,

The thing that will lead me down the wrong path,

But I find my self following,

Despite my best efforts,

You have me hooked my friend,

By your sweet temptation.
