Faceless Kiss

Faceless Kiss

A Story by Sarah
"

She got drunk and wouldn't remember what happened that night, but I her friend Teddy will always remember.

"

She knew she should of stayed home, her mother had after all forbid her to go but like the stubborn teenager she was she left against her mothers wishes and thats where we found her drunk on the street. I sighed as I walked over to my impaired friend.

"Time for you to go home." I told her, her brown  eyes glazed over with the effects of the alcohol taking hold.

"Do..Doonnwanna." She said in slurred speach, I wasn't quite sure what she said. But I grabbed her wrist and she jerked away.

"Chelsea come on damn it, My mom will kill me if your not home." I pulled her closer to the car and she stumbled. I picked her up and placed her in the side seat. I took her keys off of her. I sighed as I turned the ignition and drove her home.

"If you puke in my car, I will beat you." She looked over at me and laid her head on my shoulder. I just stiffened and was a bit creeped out. Its not that I didn't like my friend but she was just that my friend. Her hand found my chest and she snuggled closer to me. Her boyfriend was going to kill me, or her. I sighed and kept driving, she just slept peacefully on my shoulder.

Half-way home she stirred.

"mmmhmgmm." She stretched and let out a groan.

"Awake  now?" I said trying to hold the laughter from my voice. She looked over at me and I pulled into my driveway.

"Little." She gave a small hicup and I got out. Opening her door and helping her up I led her into the house. When I stopped and fumbled for the key to unlock the door, her lips pressed firmly to mine. I gently shoved her away not wanting to hurt her.

"Javier." I wasn't her boyfriend exact opposite. Her boyfriend Javier was slightly taller then me and had the darkest brown hair that it was almost black, and deep brown eyes while I held sandy hair and dull blue eyes that looked gray most of the time. She had fallen asleep again and I just picked her up and carried her up to my room and sat her down on the bed. I pulled off her shoes and pulled a trashcan close not knowing how much she actually had to drink. I kicked off my shoes and made my way across my room to an old worn chair where I laid down. In the morning she will have forgotten everything and I will forget the fact of this night.

I slept till the morning rays beat through the thin curtians that hung over the large windows, I found Chelsea over the trashcan and I got up and rubbed circles in her back. She looked up at me an gave me a tired smile.

"Thanks Teddy." Atleast she knew who I was now. Even if she did remember last nights events, the kiss would to her remain faceless and I just held the secret quite. Somethings are meant to be forgotten.
