Love

Love

A Chapter by Sarah

When do we know love is true, when the odds are stacked so against it. Anthropologists say that people fall out of love after they have a child? Is it that we are only capable of loving one person at a time, that love never truely lasts. Or is it that our minds change our outlook and opnions, to lead to different desires. If it is really desire driving love, then why do they call it love? Passion is supposed to be hot but end quickly, and love is supposed to be like a mountain, something you cant break only build. If love is supposed to last then why do families divorce and tear each other apart. When do we look at those who we love and suddenly want to tear them apart. When we find love, is it supposed to make you nervous? Unsettle you, so that when your around that special person, you act like a dork? But if love was two way then even in your dorkiest state they would find it endearing and cute. Or is it supposed to be like that comfort food, the stuff you can't seem to break free from. Is someone who loves you supposed to be there, when you are down, in a bad mood? Or do they leave when they tire of the attitude. If we say we love some one, what does it really mean?
