Something i wrote for a class and then lost altogether.

Everything was planned And ready; There was something old, something new, something borrowed and definitely Something blue. The dwarfs were old and lined the aisle leading to the glass coffin. The prince everyone thought was very new, and The bride herself was something borrowed, which the dwarfs were very good about.

It was only the actual labourers, organisers, caterers and wedding planners that seemed blue.

Of course they were very excited, who wouldn't be when you have the job of organising a royal wedding of parade proportions. The whole area had been transformed from an overgrown wilderness to a manicured lawn. A huge banquet had been prepared in record time, and a pavilion tent was built up for dancing later on. Only the guests would be dancing later. Because The actual couple would ascend a beautiful white horse, all neatly combed and well trained. A horse so nimble it could trot through snow with out leaving footsteps. Then a flock of extremely well trained blue birds would be released from the crowd and follow along, twittering as musical accompaniment. And with the couple's shadow on the horizon it would be over.

However there was the obvious problem of the bride being well... dead. On her wedding day She was happy behind that glass box, they were certain. Every bride always was. The few who had talked to the prince once they got past the toothpaste smile couldn't help but dance around the issue and never actually say what was on their mind. It wouldn't have made any difference anyway.

After the first trumpet call the prince instinctively began walking. The crowd held its collective breath, a few in the front row watched happily, and most were hoping for a happy ending. However unlike the prince they weren't in love with a dead body, and were only hoping. He arrived at Snow white's side, And the trumpets fell silent leaving no other noise. After a moment He bent down and Snow white was blocked from view, as their shape became two heads pressed together. At first nothing happened. He kissed her. she didn't respond. That was all.

He tried again.

Instantly they knew something was wrong. She kissed back for starters, and then Her arms sprang up from her sides and clamped down on his back. A shout of surprise erupted from the audience, which soon turned to horrid shrieks as the girl reared up and tried to bite the prince's head off.

Moving like an arthritic snake, her Teeth anchored on to his neck. There was a loud snapping noise and The body fell backwards, slumped against the side of the coffin.

And she turned to look at the screaming crowd, with skin as white as snow, and lips as red as blood. Some chose that moment to accidentally release the birds, and they were just launching into their musical routine as Snow white lunged at the crowd with sharp teeth.

“ Mirror, Mirror on the wall, Who is the fairest one of them all?”

After the wedding news had reached her, the queen couldn't help but ask once more, And to her surprise she still wasn't happy with the answer. Which left her in a temper all day. The only good news, was that she would soon be the fairest of them all...Very soon. Something had risen when Snow white was awakened, and it wasn't human. The queen knew about the undead, and she wasn't sure how it had happened. But however it had happened it was very useful indeed.

The fuss had been going on all morning. People had been shouting at the castle demanding an audience And refusing to go away. This alone shocked her. She granted an audience, Reasoning She could have someone executed if necessary. But they were in such a fright, the prospect of death didn't scare them, And there were so many of them. The commoners had come to her. They asked her, “if she knew of the dead beauty known as snow white. The fairest in the land?”

She did.

Terrified with fear, they had said she had woken up, and they instantly began pleading for her death, for her to be hunted down and slain and Then burn the pieces for re-assurance. There was nothing more important but for the castle guards, huntsmen to find and kill her- the queen not used to being talked over, Interrupted and answered in a bored voice

' her heart will be brought to me, and the rest of her in pieces to make sure '
