According to poetic rules close sounding words can rhyme, so "bit" and "met" meet that criteria. However, I don't believe this poem is one meant to rhyme. It seems to be a smooth flowing prose style of poetry. It almost has a meter to it, which lends to the artistic expression. All in all a nice linking of your loving thoughts put to words. I hope to see you try more variety of styles in your future poetry.
