Take Me Home

Take Me Home

A Poem by foolsrush

Often, I wonder, what this is all worth
What meaning embraces this life I've spent
Time it lapses and feelings no more
All collapses and falls at my door

If all I can see is all that can last
For what purpose has our time passed?
Together we stand at this golden door
"Eternal Bliss," the sign says, "But No More!"

Eternally seeking and judging these faces
Pleading and feeding my hungering graces
The truth which is, my life's many struggles
All of which, I have myself to blame for

No other can see it, no other will e'er know
The frustrating torments surrounding my soul
The meanings are more mysterious than they
You all will never understand anything

What humbles, what pridens, what makes you unwanted
The feelings the trials and through all you are going
Emptiness, the weight, I fall at your feet
Begging and screaming that you forgive me

Full of anger, these feelings of rage
When you stand by me they all fall away
