The Four Pair

The Four Pair

A Poem by foolsrush
"

A little change in direction?

"

"What here can I take from this?"
Said the lonely man to his accomplice
Blackened pearls, the night’s long drawn
"Just take me back now to my home!"

Jack's his name, the accomplice is Sane
Fighting, trying to get back from where they came
Sane is short, but Jack is tall
They took a stroll up Bradbury's wall

Herbert L. Bradbury's the richest of them
Wheeling and dealing from all of the hens
"Take it all once, and take it all again!" he'd say
It was his one and only noble way

Bradbury's wife, her name is Helen
She's the one who chose to tell them
"Jack, my dear," she said to his ear
"Take this letter to my father!"

This kinda sounds like burglars doing a break in because it definitely has a dark, whispery feel to it like a transaction being done on the sly. Or, it could be that the Bradbury chap is indeed, the culprit and is being dobbed in by his good wife. Interesting write but I really would like to have understood it more.
