Uneven Streets

Uneven Streets

A Poem by foolsrush

It felt like I was losing touch
Not knowing if it was too much
Running through a field of grain
All feels much the same

Before Time stands a flat marble
Wrapped in purple ribbons on a barbell
Hanging by clouds filled with destiny
Jumping through skies of mystery

Wasting away in a lonesome felt ride
But it was the feeling possessed in time
Bye and bye it was all the same
Just a single player in a world-wide game

What have I to lose in this mess?
If all there is here is loneliness
Take away everything possessed
I have the same as before time passed

Walking through a forest of gray
Everyone feels the same all day
Moving wildly in a sky of gel
Feels like just another living hell

Life becomes a game of jealousy
Played by people who run zealously
Time is love and patience is bliss
But you would never know any of this
