On Sorrow

On Sorrow

A Poem by foolsrush
"

Part of a study series I co-wrote with my old best friend, the late Jason Pouroy, he is and always will be missed.

"

As the sorrows so often bring
All the tides which often sing
So every man will stand alone
O' hex of burden ceases woe

Then in this ocean of endless rest
The best of which my sorrows bore
Oh awful were these tides of yore

For love inspires strength absurd
And hate entices weakness lured
For which ideals fall to the floor
So take this before it grows

And leave shuddering
The chances bore
A life that shrugs
A life that's sure
