Through A Blackened Sky

Through A Blackened Sky

A Poem by foolsrush

Hit me
Blue letters on a blackened page
Speak softly as I quietly gaze
Looking sharply to glimpse your eyes
Dimly glowing through a blackened sky
Hear me
Turn slowly on a darkened edge
Look closely as I sigh regrets
Smoke which rises above my brow
Forever taking a darkened bow
Save me
Gliding swiftly through a shadowed maze
Begging  for death through the haze
Neither afraid nor terribly sad
Looking dreadful, shadowed and mad
Kiss me
Hearing a whisper, a caliginous goodbye
Fearfully mournful of the look in your eye
Walking away under northern skies
Hiding away in caliginous nights

This is a wonderful write. Absolutely intoxicating in its dark and mysterious nature.
What I loved the most was the way the writer portrayed this brooding mood and the wanting to draw his lover into his world to share in a kiss but instead, was left alone in the night. Haunting.

This was a good poem. The wording was nice and the work flowed well between the lines. I enjoyed the read. I think you might've gotten a little carried away with the tone. I realize this poem is supposed to be dark and it is supposed to be like mysterious but I thought i was getting that fact kind of forced on me to some extent and the poem is strong enough where it doesn't have to do that. Well good work. Also, I don't think you can use caliginous twice in this poem and especially not so close together.

"Hit
Hear
Save
Kiss"
I like the format.
Nice write,
beautifully worded.
