A Shimmering Distant Moonrise

A Shimmering Distant Moonrise

A Poem by foolsrush

Stone, cold dry in a barren place
Moving without a trace
I feel a different face
As I tear the curtains and lace
To dry my tears

Saturn's western sun drawing slowly into view
This dining room is new
These patterns are off cue
The times are near but few
I shuffle aside

Glowing, shaking hands in fading implication
Asking what to put their faith in
Take a thought but leave the masons
Come near and you'll be broken
Our lives are far too short.

I'm not sure what this write is about but here are some quite creative lines of expression put down for readers to see. So overall, although I don't get the meaning of this write, individual lines are well crafted and if a little thought had been put into linking them, I feel something special would have emerged.
As always, a challenge.
