Stands the Sun

Stands the Sun

A Poem by foolsrush

In the middle of a field
I found myself sleeping
Lying impatiently
Tired, broken, dreaming

Past the dark of night
My vision continued stirring
Stands the sun
Shining, beating, burning

Through the myst of rain
Interpretations of destiny
Grabbing to hold
Clenching, daring, uncaring

Underneath the roads
Of pitiness and of self
A million souls
Lost, searching, leaning
