Punishment.

Punishment.

A Poem by Aliice In Wonderland

Come on, hit me.

Just do it. I know you want to.

Stop yelling,

I know what’s building up inside.

I know vessels are bursting,

Anger is bursting.

Just hit me.

Should I hit myself for you?

Just like old times?

You always blame it on me.

The voices.

The scars.

The bruises.

Of course it’s all my fault.

So you scream at me

When all I’m trying to do,

Is feel.

Telling me: I should know

When to say something.

I asked for all of this, didn’t I?

No, in fact, I didn’t.

But I am asking for this.

Just get it over with.
