Once upon a time I thought I was in love, now I know what love is, but at the time these emotions were right on.

I will not show you that I care
I will keep my heart away from you
More pain I couldn't bear

You'll never know how much I cried
I won't remember your soft kisses
Nor the rush I felt inside

I will not tell you I miss you
Nor will I share my fear
That once you hold me in your arms
the hurting may disappear

I must tell you how much I miss you
I must tell you how much I care
I cannot deny my love for you
For without it, I'm in despair.
