Have you ever liked someone, but been so set on thinking that they like someone else?

I walk towards you, then run away,
There's one thing that I have to say, but she's the only one that you see right now.

You wouldn't understand even if I spelled it out, the things I want to say out loud, but I can't and as always, I'm the one to blame.

I screwed things up with you and me, how could I ever think we were meant to be? You're repairing your relationship while I'm singled out.

I love you, okay? I had no choice!
I love your hair and smile and voice.
I love how you care about everyone you meet.

We've been best friends for quite a while, and yet, with every passing smile,
I find myself falling harder and harder for you.

You're walking towards me, there's no leaving now,
the things things I want to say out loud, come out.

"I love you" i say, and so do you. wait, could this be true???
We lean in for our first kiss ever.

Why were you talking to her, I ask.
"To break things off, quick and fast. You're the one I've always loved." He said.

Why does life make this so hard?
We get fooled, thinking it will leave us scars.
just go for it, you have nothing more to loose.
