I am the silence

I am the silence

A Poem by flyingdreams

I am the silence
Not the one wrapped with meanings
Not the one filled with
deep underlying connections
I am the silence,
When they run out of topics
In a cozy dinner party,
Linger
Waiting for someone
To see, feel, soothe
Waiting for one loving glance
For one knowing smile
But i am the silence
creeping between everyone
When for a moment
They run out of their pleasures
I am the silence they notice
For whiskers before
Something new comes in
Something interesting
And i fade into oblivion
I am the silence
Who in silence
Builds my dreams in those
Unbeliveably tiny moments
And watch them come down
With mighty crash
Time after time
I want to yell, to scream at the face of world
I am here
But i am the silence

Thank you for this poem flying dreams. Silence can be awkward or powerful. Both.
