Clocks

Clocks

A Poem by (Super) Heroes Never Die

Thunder rolls overhead
Like a constant reminder
That you're in the back of my mind.
Venturing back into the rain
The clocks won't let me forget
All the moments we spent together;
How do you leave someone behind
Who won't let you go?
The photographs in my pocket
Are fading slowly
Now my bitterness remains.

What a deep aching that flows through this moving piece... Your words wash the world with rain, and make me hope that you've found a ray of sunlight to break through those dark clouds.. Powerful write.
