Quiet BoyA Poem by (Super) Heroes Never DieA poem written about a friend. Here's to you, Ian. You see us for who we really are.Labeled the freak By the jerks of the world And those who don't see with their hearts, The Quiet Boy sits alone And listens to what others can't hear. He opens his eyes And sees the true us, All the things that we hide on our sleeves. But we cannot fool the Quiet Boy, We can only fool ourselves. He sees us as the freaks we are And all he does is stare. Never does he dare To call us on this For us, these fools, Have pushed him away. A leper for nothing An outcast for everything Now he sits and he sits, Waiting for the day We open our hearts And catch up. © 2010 (Super) Heroes Never DieAuthor's Note
