Make A Wish

Simple, short poem about Shooting Stars.

Deep velvet sky above you,

Green grass behind your back

See the stars bright sparkle,

Feel the cold embrace of the night.

Comets flash by in seconds

Giving you moments to react,

Close your eyes,

Hold your breath.

Think fast.

Carefully.

Be sure you pick the right wish.

You might get lucky

Your wish might just come true.

A very beautiful short poem. It creates a vivid picture in my mind of lying on my back just waiting
for a shooting star to go by and getting excited when ones does. Then quickly getting that wish
