Watch The Storm

Watch The Storm

A Poem by (Super) Heroes Never Die
"

A poem inspired by Was it A Dream? by 30 Seconds to Mars and the Tennesse thunderstorms. :)

"

Lightning dances and zags through the clouds,

the sky brightening with each flash.

The thunder cracks and rumbles angrily,

beautiful drums beating in the sky.

The rain pours down softly,

reminding me of home.

The differences are so blurred right now,

you can hardly tell East from West.

I lose myself,

watching the storm.

Time only becomes a memory.

The wind swirls in the trees,

the leaves ruffling softly.

The nature's sound is so beautiful,

I've left my iPod behind.

The sun comes out,

and it seems,

oh well,

I'm not at home at all.

Sometimes listening to wind, rain or storms is totally more entertaining than mp3 players :) I can relate. Nice work!Thank you so much for your feedback!

Interesting. I can't quite judge this one correctly. It's good, but there's something about it that I can't put my finger on... It'll come to me later.
