Monster

Monster

A Story by Reader53

He looked at me with fear in his eyes as he finally realized the truth. He backed away into the red-brick wall behind him. There was no way he was getting out of there alive. He knew my secret, and was obviously afraid. If I let him go, he would tell others about me. It's a shame that our date has to end this way. If only he wasn't so stupid as to do what he did. Then he would have never found out about me.
I raised my hand, with the hole of blood right in the center. I reeled back, and focused on the target. I heard a slice as I quickly lowered my arm. The new red blade in my hand dripped with blood. The man in front of me fell left and right, a perfect slice right through the skull and bones. Maybe my best work. Now I had to take care of the body. I held out my hand, and tentacles spewed from the hole. They grabbed the body, quickly cleaned up the blood all around, and put the body inside a dumpster a few feet away. She thought to herself about the poor unlucky soul that would find it. Then they would find her. She hopes that never happens.
She quickly retracted the tentacles, and the hole closed up, leaving a red scar. She gathered up the stuff she dropped, and quickly ran out of the alleyway. She hailed for a taxi, got in, and told the taxi to go to the airport. She went on her phone to warn her partner about what might happen next.

Oh dang it. Grr. I didn't realize that I had changed it from "I" to "She". From first person to third person. Oops
