Silence is GoldenA Poem by FlowJust a thought for today
Silence is Golden
It is my quietness That makes me meek A gentle giant to some But to most I am weak
Not because of a Lack Of physical strength But because being Soft spoken Kind hearted And in touch With my thoughts And emotions Equates me more feminine Than masculine
It takes a deep soul To see that I am actually More submissive Than Dominant
Still…
Within my faith Are beliefs that
If you have the Faith of a mustard seed You can move mountains
Forgive and forget So you may be forgiven
If someone smacks my one cheek Turn to them my other
And the meek Shall inherent the earth
Amen…
For it takes more strength To forgive someone To bridal your tongue To restrain your flesh From physical assault It takes power to hold morals Love your values Keep your word
I can drop a pebble in the sea And watch the ripples Move past huge waves And treacherous deep seas I am a gentleman With a heart The size of A mustard seed
It is more love Than anyone Will ever need © 2008 FlowAuthor's Note
