GazingA Poem by Blooming Flower"Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better". -Albert EinsteinShe was laying on the ground, Her eyes open, Fixated on the sky. The blue sky. Oh, how pretty it was. Some days it was a blue so light it looked white While others it was so blue that you ached to swim through it. The white clouds. Fluffy and always moving. Black during the darkest storms Pale during the brightest days. The trees. Always so tall and majestic. Their branches and roots look like lighting. All of the different colors. The grass. Soft and lucious when there was rain. Hard and brittle during the dry summers. It supported her during her every daydream. Then the birds. Flying to and from their nests. Desperate to feed their children. Then the sun. Slowly fading into the ground. Giving the sky new colors. Pinks and blues and purples Oranges and greens and yellows. She laid there and watched the sky until the stars came out. Then she rose, And walked home.
