The Sky Cracked

The Sky Cracked

A Poem by Blooming Flower
"

2023 work. Inspired by the instrumental “The Sky Cracked” by Bea Boethius

"

Stars, shimmering far above our heads. They’ve always been staring down at us. Millions of years old and thousands of miles away. They’ve always been something we wish upon. Maybe we admire the stars so much because they know things far greater than we know. They’ve seen our history and know the truth. They’ve seen our creation and will be there to see our destruction. Some will be destroyed with us. But for now, we’ll be content wishing upon stars.

I do agree dear poet. I have made a thousand wishes to the sea and the stars above. The sea nd the stars do hold many secret. Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry.

You might want to change 'thousands ' in line to 'hundreds of millions' or billions.

The write is excellent though. You're a thinker no though. The cosmos are almost beyond a humans comprehension yet you bring them to your readers nicely.
