Autumn

Autumn

A Poem by Blooming Flower
"

A 2023 piece. Inspired from the instrumental “Autumn” by Rolig

"
The leaves twirl and dance in the air. The wind allows them one last dance before they have to rejoin the earth. You can smell the beautiful smell of decay. The bright colors make the world feel alive even as death walks near. The squirrels make slumbering trees rustle as they try to find last-minute nuts. The bunnies find their holes and you can see deer in the distance eating what they can. This is when death has never been more beautiful.
