A reason for a white dove

A reason for everything;

A reason for a white dove..

an image in my mind comparable to love.

I believe in a reason for different colors,

Symbolism in it’s craftiest form.

A black vulture, eating the remains of the dead.

Its favorite color is red.

We tend to inspect details that aren’t

meant for us to understand.

That is why we have poetry;

our own perception at hand.

A sky full of different birds.

Everything we see can be put into words.

How beautiful is it to see butterflies,

to remind you that you are alive.

Been a long time since I last saw a butterfly, but reading your works's a similar bliss. We do have words for everything visible. And colors do seem to speak of certain things to us. Different to different people.

This is a beautiful piece. And these last lines sum up what we understand only too well but it's hard to actually imply. Always wanting more, we forget the little things that do make us feel alive.
