Ease

Ease

A Poem by Floornine
"

Love. Drugs. The usual...

"

The fizzled lights
Lay in your sun glasses. You look
So light
But I'm not asking
The way you limp,
The way you breathe,
The way your bird bones
Trap flies with
E's in your system,
Chronic sublime.
Your sober will miss me
But your night time will hide
All the burnt tin like
The silver in your eye,
Splitting our cage
Like a house of keys, I lie
Down my hands
To sit on my knees,
Begging you
Begging you
Catching you,
Please!
Lay down with me
One last time,
Holding your
Scolding hot lips
Open wide.
You're burning baby.
And I can't help you this time.

The structure is beautiful. The use of "baby" threw and delighted me. I liked the bird bones bit too. You seem to have a real skill for writing poetry, I'll definitely read more of your work.

I like awkward things and people, lomography, and tea. If I like you, I'll tell you. People think it's cute. I'm just clumbsy with all that lingual foreplay. If you ask me to be your friend, I .. more..
