Paper

Paper

A Poem by floira
"

Paper is soooooo important !!!

"

 Plain, white and crisp

A simple luxury

As magical as a willow-the-wisp

As mysterious as destiny.

Unraveling tales of youth and yore

Magical and filled with delight

A magic pen, a fairy store

A dreamy day, an enchanted night.

A poem with words so strong

Standing out with pride

A painting of a nervous bird

Taking her first flight.

A letter to someone faraway

Cause writing them is safer

So many wonders can be put

On a little piece of paper.

This is very imaginative in its descriptions of the many uses of a simple piece of paper. The musicality even has a relatively smooth flow, which is fantastic. Your biggest oddity is in the last stanza Line 2.....first off, without an apostrophe at the beginning, "cause" would not necessarily be immediately interpreted as the shortened "because", and also what makes writing letters safer? Safer as opposed to what other method? It's a bit confusing , and seems that you merely needed a rhyme of "paper" and "safer" was the closest you could come without sounding completely odd..... but in so doing, you do sound a bit odd, for there's nothing to justify its presence. And just a spelling note: it's "will-o-the-wisp". Well done otherwise.

A number of years ago with computer they said it was the end of paper as we know it. Since then the use of paper has continued to grow. As much as we love our computer, we also like to handle and feel paper in our hands when we read important things. Nice write, I loved it. Thanks for sharing.
