Drowning in fear

like quick sinking sand

tortured by demons

no one understands

gripping denial

so close to my chest

agonizing betrayal

gives me no rest

silence the blame

so again I can think

keep doing the wrong

until I'm on the brink

utter destruction

beckons me near

whispering chaos

no one can hear

Fear, sinking, demons and a sense of isolation ... but it needs dressing up a bit, I submit. Put more into it. Stir it up. Make it grab my mind and shake me up.
