Reflection

A reflection in the glass
do I see who's really there
or do I see who I believe
to be the real me?
Do I where a shroud
to hide from prying eyes
while safely cloaked in lies?
Is it my honesy that repels
the ones who judge me
from high upon their pedastals
mady by hypocritical hands
they are trying to defeat me
but I don't give them the chance
because I learned to glue the pieces
so they no longer break.
