wild animal

wild animal

A Poem by flickering candle

I’m sorry it is just the fact that I am a wild animal. I will not turn in my homework. I will howl at the rising moon. I will not take out the trash. I will climb trees. I will not get a job. I will befriend the birds and have chats about the weather with beavers. You cannot cage a wild heart. It’s roots grow deeper than the tallest pine and its blood runs faster and warmer that a wolf at night. The lion tamer will be eaten. And that is beautiful. Uncaged is beautiful. Wild is beautiful.

I agree and I like this poem.
"And that is beautiful. Uncaged is beautiful. Wild is beautiful."
Better to be wild and untamed than caged and locked up. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

Now this is something you don not see everyday, I like the way you expressed your feelings and feeling proud of them, it's good.
Great ending, it's really good.
I have to say that this is another great poem, keep up the good work.
