THERE IS NO TITLE #17

A Poem by flickering candle

Love wasn’t meant to kill time, so tell me if you really loved me

There were so many times you almost walked out the door

But we’ve rode this rollercoaster twice before

And it cant solve our problems anymore

I cant supply all your needs anymore

I don’t know really know what the future has in store

But we’re both getting tired

I don’t sleep but I’m wired

the excitement has faded

all I feel is jaded

in the middle between close and distant

acting like I don’t feel the distance

you distance yourself

and im put on the shelf

and the worst part was

I didn’t grieve the connection we lost

Just the time that it cost

Love was not made to kill time, so tell me if you really loved me

The endind line... What a poem, sometimes I feel like this too.
"in the middle between close and distant"
Such truthful words.
