DO YOU REMEMBER ME

Shh…listen…

Do you hear me in
the whispers of the wind -
Where my dreams of you
sleep tucked away
in the softness of summer?

Do you see me beneath
the rainbow of the waking sun -
Caressing you with
the warmth of my smile,
as the morning birds sing hello?

Do you feel me on
the rose of your cheeks -
The memory of my lips
kissing love into
the oasis of your dimples?

Do you dream of me
lying next to you in bed -
Holding you in my arms,
touching your heart with mine,
as I say “I love you”, one last time?

Do you still remember me?

I can so relate to this. I think that when intimacy has occured btwn people it can never be completely forgotten.whether it is remembered with joy,sadness,or hatred it leaves a mark on our respective souls that turns us into who we truely are. Very nice job on this one. Especially like "do you see me beneath the rainbow of the waking sun" Love should be filled with rainbows and laughter.
