A WOMAN'S TEARS

A WOMAN'S TEARS

A Poem by FlawedByDesign

A WOMAN’S TEARS

The world resides in her eyes behind
the incandescent vitality of youth.
Trapped in the fluorescence of her tears
sleeping in the fabric of her dreams.

Effervescent freckles in her gaze
a reflection of beauty within.
An imaginary island; perfection
painted in the bright minds of old.

A single teardrop drips down her cheek
across the universe of her starry face.
It illumines the world held within
echoing the innocence of her years.

Remit the release of her purity
let it not shatter by way of woe.
Kiss her divine face with your fingers
and return the tear to its rightful place.

Sacred are a woman’s tears.

***The story is about the importance of a woman's tears (hence sacred) because the world resides inside and would shatter if the tear was to ever slide off her face.

"An imaginary island; perfection
painted in the bright minds of old." - refers to Utopia.

This is sweet, and the message was pure as snow :) I liked this poem a lot (from the other's that I've read), and I like the third stanza the best. And as the other reviews stated... smashing.. beauty... wisdom. There is a meaning behind this leaves me feeling like I'm not alone. Thanks, and I'm sure you'll keep up the writing! :D

i am always in awe of your connection to nurturance, sensuality and admiration to feminity
it is delightful to read something from a masculine mind relating to the feminine

This is great., such a different place to feel sacred in the tear of mind's eye angel.
Your inspiration is clear and drizzles to the beat of your heart, erasing what so many days could never take on...good stuff

Pure imagery bliss..........the idea of a sacred womans tear, if only...........but you have described something beautiful, wondrous, and makes every woman reading this feel unique somehow and special.

Flawless to the core of the innocence hidden within those words - your words of wonder to feel a woman's tears upon your blank, poetry page. If only someone could see with your eyes to tell the story from my tears, then my tears shall not fall wastefully.

... beautifully written.

I agree with Corey! You write with such delicacy on this matter, but it all comes from that lovely mind of yours.

This is a beautiful peice and I'm not just saying that because I'm a woman, it has a nice flow and rythm. It has some interesting words that kind of through me for a loop for a second, (I actually had to look one up and I believe Effervescent should be Effervescence, I could be wrong). It's beautiful, powerful, and I wish all guys thought like you. Keep Writing.
