BLACK TO WHITE

BLACK TO WHITE

A Poem by FlawedByDesign
"

This is the first piece I wrote after having been in a car accident in March 2009 and almost died.

"

BLACK TO WHITE

Ominous clouds masqueraded the night,
Cataclysm dressed as the belle in white.
A ball no one tripped the light fantastic,
A ball that ceased drastic.

Threads of fate became tangled,
Auspicious lives forge through mangled.
Their splendor well-nigh eclipsed,
Engrossing obscurity hard to resist.

Brave mortals refuse to concede yet,
They pledge to live on without regret.
Destiny will devour the coarse canvas,
The canvas, past has bestowed with paint.
