HER STORY

Today she’s broken her mirror
Now things are much clearer
Reflection spread amongst the glass
Small windows to her past

Each façade a story in its own right
Some pitch black, others shine bright
Picture they paint may lack style
But grab her shoes and walk a mile

At times she swears she will persist
Once in a while cease to exist
Faced with calamity she feels humble
It’s just the way the cookie crumbles
